poor maura.

you see tomorrow is St. Patrick's Day. our family has the "tradition" of the leprechaun visiting and leaving little miniature gifts. we would make a little leprechaun house and maybe try to trap him. we would run down to the house and see if he left us stuff. years ago there would be a little house outside right now. there isn't now. instead about an hour ago Maura made a makeshift house on the table. when she finally went to bed after she was satisfied with the house and was laughed at by my dad because she was still awake making the house, my mom said "so do we have to go break into the hobby shop?" and my dad laughed and said "what time is it? well i told her that sometimes the leprechaun visits on the parade night" poor Maura. when i was younger the leprechaun would have always came. now Maura is getting the short end of the stick. i guess that is why being the oldest, middle, youngest, and the number of older/younger siblings affects your personally. doesn't everything matter when it comes to your personality though?

edit: more convo and quotes for you.
mom: "she even put hershey kisses for him!"
dad: "you have to take a pictures. it's so cute. she's so cute"
mom: "i feel bad now"
me too. i feel bad too mother. good thing i'll be at school when she wakes up tomorrow. did i say that already? i was planning on saying that but i don't think i did. okay. that wasn't a good thing to end on.
